The word ‘concierge’ has its origin in medieval Europe, and referred to the person entrusted with the keys of the castle. It was an important position. Not only did the concierge open doors, but also, he knew where everything was kept. He could find candles for the banquet, leather for harnesses, soap for washing and preserves from the pantry.
Further, the concierge could get things done and make other things happen. His responsibility was to oversee the smooth running of the household. Whether taking deliveries of food and supplies, or arranging for repair of the castle door, or directing the crew to clean the windows, the concierge was the go-to person.

I’m Stephanie Brennan, your Sage assist Personal Concierge.
I provide assistance in (but not limited to) several areas, outlined below.

- Personal Shopper. Provide a list of items to me, and you’ll quickly receive your groceries, birthday presents, Christmas gifts or office supplies.
- House Watcher. When you’re out of town, I will collect your mail and the paper, and check the house at varying times of the day and night. If I find something amiss, I’ll contact you immediately and carry out your instructions.
- Bookkeeper. I’ll balance your checkbook, draw up a budget or keep track of your receipts. And I’ll organize them for tax purposes so you can avoid that particular hassle.
- Event Planner. From a One Year Old birthday party, to a wedding, to a corporate retreat, I can produce what you want. For example, I’ve planned and hosted a successful products and services festival, with 20 participating vendors.
- Companion. I’m happy to spend time with people who need a ride to appointments, or share a friendly cup of tea, attend a concert, or just to talk.
I hold several professional certifications, offering services particular to each one.
Home Health Aide
I provide safe care at home for those who might otherwise be placed in a hospital or nursing home. This allows families to stay intact, and encourages independence, dignity and comfort in familiar surroundings.
Reiki Master
Reiki (pronounced RAY-key) is an ancient method for connecting universal energy with the body’s powers of healing. Its origins are found in the Tibetan sutras, the ancient records of cosmology and philosophy. It was rediscovered in the early 1900’s by Dr Mikao Usui.
The Rei is interpreted to mean knowledge of spiritual consciousness, which is all-knowing. Ki is the life force, also called the vital life force or the universal life force. Reiki Masters and Reiki Practitioners are channels for this healing energy. Many health care professionals are Reiki Practitioners.
Reiki is NOT a religion. It has no dogma. There is nothing you must believe in, to receive, give, or learn in order to use Reiki. Always remember: “Reiki can do no harm,” only good. For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact me.
End of Life Doula
An end of life doula is a non-medical person who is trained in holistic care of patients and their families in the last phase of life. ‘Holistic’ means whole. The EOLD knows what to expect physically, emotionally and spiritually as one’s body declines, and knows what interventions to suggest for optimum comfort.
The doula can be with the patient for the last few hours of life. However, although a doula can choose to sit vigil, she also usually takes an active role in helping the patient and family prepare for death, and perform whatever is needed to ease the transition.
Young Living Essential Oils Distributor
A believer in all things natural, I’ve found a perfect fit with Young Living’s essential oils and their myriad of uses. Not just for diffusers to make the house smell wonderful, pure essential oils are used in cleaning, skin care, cooking and even toothpaste.
Essential oils were mankind’s first medicine. They have been used for thousands of years to enhance physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Science has only recently begun to unravel the hidden treasures of knowledge these precious oils have to offer.
Through my association with Young Living, I’m constantly expanding and utilizing my knowledge of the uses and benefits of essential oils.
Chocolate Enthusiast
For me – Chocolate has been an integral part of the work with my Alzheimer’s clients. The first time I witnessed the soothing result, it led to an “aha!” moment. I’ve continued to include this most pleasurable and beloved remedy since. There can never be too many chocolate kisses!
I have witnessed firsthand the impact of both the physical and mental health benefits. Chocolate is known to decrease stress, lower blood pressure, reduce weight, enhance memory, and slow the aging of the brain. Start a daily regimen of chocolate, and no doubt you’ll agree that it’s therapeutic!
